This Python tutorial will guide participants through common tasks in data science. It is designed to be accessible to people with basic python skills. This session is a follow up to Introduction to Python on February 15th, 2024.
Learning objectives
- load packages and spreadsheet-style data using Python package Pandas
- extract columns, rows, and portions thereof from datasets
- overview of data visualization libraries for python
- Create basic plots with matplotlib
